These terms cover the practical rules for using 10 Minute Mail. There is no account to agree to anything with, so using the site at all means you accept the terms below. They are short on purpose, because the service itself is simple: a free, temporary inbox with no strings attached.

Use the service for normal, lawful tasks - Sign-ups, downloads, one-time codes.
The inbox is provided as-is, with no guarantee a message will arrive in time.
We can change or discontinue features at any time, since there is no account to migrate.

What the service is built for

10 Minute Mail is built for everyday tasks: catching a verification code, reading a welcome email, or grabbing a download link without handing over your real address.

What is not allowed

Sending spam of your own through the service.
Bypassing another site's security or rate limits at scale.
Interfering with the service for other users.

Because there are no accounts and nothing to migrate between versions, we can add, change, or remove features, adjust timer lengths, or take the service offline at any time, for any reason, without advance notice. We will keep the features page current so you can always see what is actually available.

Your responsibility

Shared infrastructure, not a private account

You are responsible for what you send through the service and for anything you do with a message before it expires. We do not review or moderate individual messages, and because the inbox is shared infrastructure, not a private account, you should never send anything through it that you would not be comfortable losing or having expire unread.
